About Us

Meet Stan

Stan is a leader with a passion for cultivating vibrant communities of faith. His calling is to empower individuals and teams to establish thriving churches that impact their communities.

With 30 years of Lead Pastor experience, Stan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the church community.  He is an experienced Senior Pastor with a passion for serving his community and spreading the message of the Gospel. Currently serving at Franklin Heights Church in Rocky Mount, VA, a town of less than 5,000 people, he has led the congregation through significant growth and impactful initiatives. Franklin Heights Church is a multi-site, multi-generational church with a weekly attendance of around 1900 people. Under his leadership, the church experienced substantial increases in worship attendance and baptisms leading to its recognition on the Outreach 100 list of America’s fastest-growing churches.

Stan not only has experience in a large, multi-site church but has also served an urban, inner-city church as well as led a rural church through revitalization. Rural churches often have different dynamics and close-knit community relationships. Stan has a passion to inspire and equip rural congregations to thrive in their context.

Known for his strategic thinking and practical approach, Stan partners with churches of all sizes and denominations to address a wide range of challenges. Whether it’s revitalizing declining congregations, developing effective leadership structures, or implementing impactful outreach programs, Stan is dedicated to equipping churches for long-term health and growth.

FHC network

The FHC Network was established to mobilize people to plant, revitalize, and replant churches while supporting pastors.

Church Revitalization—Develop and lead a cohort of pastors who are leaders of churches in need of Revitalization. Partner with the NAMB, SBC of Virginia, other State Conventions, and local associations to identify and connect with churches and pastors in need of revitalization. The goal would be to help revitalize 3 churches by 2030.

Church Replanting—Identify, train, and mentor pastors who are called to replant churches. Partner with the NAMB, SBC of Virginia, other State Conventions, and local associations to identify and connect with churches that are in a replant situation. The goal would be to replant 3 churches by 2030.

Church Planting—Identify, train, and mentor those called to church planting. Once a relationship is established with the church planter, Franklin Heights will work alongside him to plant a church. The goal would be to plant 3 churches by 2030.

Mentoring and Encouraging Pastors—Identify, mentor, and encourage pastors who are discouraged, burnt out, or just need encouragement.
